My boyfriend wrote me a little poem while I’ve been away, reassuring me while I face growing indecision and anxiety in these weeks on the CaRMS tour. Besides the silly inside jokes, I thought it was sweet enough to share. His more serious work can be found here (http://projectarctic.com).
Morning Note
We will land on our four collective feet
Twelve if you count landing with the cats
9 + 9 + you + me, twenty lives collectively
Keeping still won’t keep us warm
We share the pleasures with the pain
Our heart is home for us both
Look we even have a moat (I like boat)
…Stay focused Gemini!
We are at the starting gate
With no one else in the run
We could tea at high noon
Or sleep until one.
Take my hand and let’s do life together, now and forever.
